Students view, read, or listen to content and then compose a review of that content according to assignment requirements, such as writing through a philosophical framework, or design skills.

Appropriate Content Areas

Typical in media studies, political science, literature courses, Theater courses, could be used in Design classes, etc.

Goals & Objectives

Identify how the activity aligns with student learning objectives (SLOs).

The goal or outcome is for the student to develop an ability to critically evaluate media and communicate their ideas. Another goal is that students are exposed to literature, plays, and media, they otherwise might not have seen.
