Student Government

SG facilitates the expression and empowerment of student opinions across campus. It advocates for the Student Body through continuous interaction with students, faculty, staff and administration, doing all it can to enhance the quality of the student experience.

It’s made up of 3 branches:

  • Legislative or the “Senate”
  • Executive
  • Judicial

The Legislative branch represents and create legislation on behalf of their respective classes. It contains 4 senators from each class (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate students).

The Executive branch maintains SG’s day-to-day operations and executes legislation passed by the Senate. It includes a president, vice president and staff.

The Judicial branch oversees student elections on campus. It includes a chief justice, 3 associate undergraduate justices and 3 associate justices).
